Read this...if you want to "Feel Good," save yourself some money and assist your local school or sports club.Hi, I'm Wayne Wallis and I'm happy to inform you that despite the current times there are still businesses prepared to financially support their community. Most of us know how important continued business support is to all our community groups and organisations. However these days businesses can't support every organisation that simply asks them for money. With less money available businesses are wanting to focus their support towards the Schools, Clubs, Teams and Community Groups, who's Parents, Members, Players or Supporters, they know have been (supporting) purchasing from their business. Which is fair enough, I think. However when I asked, "How they did this?" I found out that most businesses didn't have an easy reliable process to effectively achieve or manage this. To cut a long story short, I realised if I could create something to help them easily and accurately identify who's been supporting them. They'd be happy and feel good, because they'd know for sure, they're supporting the clubs and organisations who's members have been supporting their business. Which is precisely what it is they told me they wanted to do. The flip side to this would be, that clubs and organisations that do actually support (purchase) from these businesses, would now be assured to receive their fair share of whatever money is available. A programme able to do this could potentially benefit every community organisation, which would keep New Zealand the great place it is to live, work and raise a family! That's why I decided to take time out from my day job milking cows to create an effective process to assist these generous businesses support their community. By helping them I would be helping myself and every other parent and sports club member potentially save money. Because I knew that the more money a school or sports club receives from businesses, the less money that school or sports club needs to raise via other means. As every parent knows any short fall in business or public funding is normally raised via an increase in subs, fees, or levies. Which generally comes out of the pockets of parents or players. ![]() Now, after (a lot of help from alot of people and businesses) I can say that businesses now have a process (using computor technology) that can effectively identify who's been supporting them. I can honestly say, "If You support them, They WILL support you". (them being the businesses that are using this process to fairly distribute their money into the community) Which now means Schools and Clubs have the opportunity to access and receive more money from a wider variety of businesses. It's good for everyone, that's why this programmes called "WIN WIN Connections." Basically it's a card that acts as an ID for an organisation (that wants money). By having the card swiped at the time of making a purchase, will register that cardholders support to that retailer and will effectively generate money back to the school, club, or team that cardholders card, is linked to. The more cardholders (members) that support participating businesses the more money their organisation will receive. ![]() Getting access to this money is only available to the groups and organisations that are WIN WIN Connections card holders! No worries, it's FREE to join. It's very easy for Schools, Sports Clubs, Community Groups and Individuals to sign up and receive their own WIN WIN Connections membership swipe card. It's a no brainer, YOU support them and they'll support your (School, Team, Club or Community Group) Nothing, can be more Fair than that! Raising sponsorship money can be easier - Here’s why! It's thanks to a small team of motivated individuals, who all share a common vision, which is:To keep New Zealand the great place it is to live, work and raise a family. They know, that it's our schools, our sports clubs, and all our community services etc that make New Zealand the great place it is to live and raise a family. We all get to enjoy and benefit from having these clubs and services in our communities for FREE, or at worst a minimal fee. This is only possible because, thankfully throughout the country there are many generous people who own or operate businesses that choose to support their community. These people have been providing the bulk of the money that's continually been needed to operate and maintain these clubs and services. However there has been a steady decline in both the amount of money given, and the number of businesses that are willing and able to support their communities. This reduction in business funding back into our communities, is impacting on us all. Because as we all know, any short fall in this funding comes out of the pockets of parents, players, or supporters via fundraising or an increase in fees or subscriptions. Or worse still, the community looses that club or service. Why the decline in support from businesses? One big reason is, we haven't been very good at supporting the businesses that have been supporting our communities' schools and sports clubs and other community service groups.Far to often business owners are discovering that they are generously giving money only to find that the recipient of their money doesn't reciprocate and support their business in any way. If you were one of these business owners, how would you feel? Would you be willing to continue to give them money? This is a major factor of WHY there is a decline in the number of businesses prepared to support their community. To stop this decline we must support the businesses that support our communities, or we'll all suffer. However the great news is that the WIN WIN Connections programme is a sustainable connection between businesses and our communities. This programme will help to reverse this negative trend. Getting easy access to sponsorship money is the dream of every sports team, club, school, and organisation in the country. Now businesses who want to support the community have a robust system to make it happen, that's fair and transparent and will also benefit them in other ways. You'll be able to easily spot them because they will be displaying a bright blue and yellow WIN WIN Connections logo. That's how we'll know which businesses are willing to support their community using the WIN WIN Connections programme, from those that aren't! Using the power of computers to do all the hard work, the system works like this: Groups or individuals join (it's FREE) and are given membership cards. During this process members choose whoever they would want money to go to. ie their sports team, school, next door neighbor, wife, partner, child, church, charity etc, the choice is theirs. There's no restrictions on who or for what. When making a purchase from a participating retailer their membership card is swiped through the EFTPOS terminal. That’s how they can keep track of things and know who’s entitled to what! That’s why it’s important that whenever a member makes a purchase from a participating retailer, they get their membership card swiped. Doing this ensures that the members School, Club will now receive their fair share of that retailers money. The more purchases a member(s) make from participating business, the more money their School or Club (recipient) will get. It’s that simple. It's turned Fundraising from a chore into an easy process!
That's why it's called "WIN WIN Connections" because everyone benefits in some way or another!
It's true participating retailers "Have money available, Support them and They'll support you! " Participating businesses will all be displaying the bright blue and yellow WIN WIN Connections logo. "That's a business that supports the community." ![]() So now you have the choice – a. Purchase from businesses that are supporting the community OR b. Shop from those that don’t! |
